our role

The Unitarian Universalist Service Committee (UUSC) is a nonsectarian human rights organization powered by grassroots collaboration. UUSC began its work in 1939 when Rev. Waitstill and Martha Sharp took the extraordinary risk of traveling to Europe to help refugees escape Nazi persecution.

For over 75 years, our innovative approach and measurable contributions have been grounded in the moral belief that all people have inherent power, dignity, and rights. Learn more about UUSC’s work.

Facta Studio worked closely with UUSC stakeholders to migrate their old site from Drupal to WordPress, moving thousands of posts and pages from one Content Management System into another. Once the information was unlocked on the WordPress platform, we redesigned the homepage, developed a hierarchy of content contributors and permissions in the backend, and integrated the entire site into their 3rd party CRM and donor management software.

Creative

We worked closely with Cognak to develop a new visual identity to the UUSC homepage, with a focus on rethinking the information hierarchy and tailoring it towards the users and the organization’s online goals.
